Lush Valentines 2016 and haul

Lush valentines 2016 range review

If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll know I love Lush bath products, so it’s with some excitement that I’ve been trying out some of the new, limited edition Valentines range of bath bombs and bubble bars, along with some old favourites of mine.

Lush unicorn horn pastel bubble bar

Unicorn Horn

Unicorn Horn bubble bar caught my eye immediately.  I find Lush bubble bars consistently good, and this candy striped, jasmine scented dream is ticking all the boxes.  Plenty of bubbles from half a bar (although I reckon you could go for a third), and a subtle but long lasting smell.

Lush Tisty Tosty bath bomb valentines range 2016

Tisty Tosty

Tisty Tosty is a returning favourite of mine. One of the simpler Lush bath bombs, it’s a rosy smelling treat that leaves skin feeling super soft.  Each one of these has 7 rosebuds included in the formula, which looks really pretty bobbing around the bath.

Lover Lamp bath bomb smelled like chocolate orange, once it had dissolved and I found it a bit cloying, so this was a slight disappointment.  The shea butter love hearts were nice though – the red is a lovely contrast in the water, and they’re moisturising enough to skip lotion once you’re out the tub – but I just wish there was a bit more to this one.

Old favourites next:

Lush bath products sex bomb, frozen, twilight, unicorn horn

Sex Bomb – Frozen – Twilight – Unicorn Horn

Frozen bath bomb has become one of my most loved Lush products.  The fragrance is perfect, if like me, you love neroli and rose.  It’s really soothing and uplifting at the same time, and turns your bath a beautiful, shimmering blue (which isn’t too difficult to clean up!).

Lush Twilight purple bath bomb

L-R Tisty Tosty, Sex Bomb, Twilight, Frozen, Blackberry, Unicorn Horn

Twilight is my all-time favourite Lush scent.  It’s soothing and calming, full of lavender, tonka, ylang ylang and benzoin, which have a superb ability to relax and unwind.  Plus, it turns the water a gorgeous deep purple shade, which just happens to be the best colour, ever.

Lush Sex Bomb is gorgeous.  Another jasmine fragranced bath product, with ylang ylang too, it’s relaxing, sexy and turns the water pink. Yes.

Lush blackberry light purple blue bath bomb

Lush Blackberry bath bomb

Blackberry bath bomb is, oddly enough, not blackberry scented.  Instead this purple dreamboat is full of frankincense and bergamot.  Another relaxing and uplifting scent combination, this one makes the water incredibly soft.

What are your favourite Lush products?  Let me know in the comments.
